I am getting the following pop-up whenever I try to sync on my Macbook Anki. I only use the Anking MCAT deck. What exactly does this message mean and what do I click? When I study UWorld and do other external practice I always add more cards to the Anking deck and sometime change premade cards on that deck to better fit my understanding. Will I lose all the cards I made? I know that the cards I change usually revert back to their original version when an edit is made to them on AnkiHub and I sync up, but this is the first time I get this message. Please advise what to do, thanks guys.

Hello,
This message simply means that some major changes were made. There’s nothing to worry about—just make sure you know where the most up-to-date version of your collection is stored: either on this device (where the message is appearing) or on AnkiWeb (in case you synced from another device).
If the most up-to-date version is on this device, click Upload to AnkiWeb. If it’s on AnkiWeb, click Download from AnkiWeb.
If you have any remaining questions, feel free to reach out—I’d be happy to clarify!
Thanks Marcos!
Hello,
The message usually indicates that there is a conflict between the decks on your device and those on AnkiWeb:
Unless you’ve been making considerable changes to your collection very recently from a separate device, in most cases you can just click upload.
It’s probably worth noting that this message does not originate from AnkiHub, but rather AnkiWeb, so there’s no threat of your collection being overwritten (as long as you click upload).
If you want to be extra safe, you can always make a backup here:
Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
Haha, ignore me. My page didn’t refresh and I didn’t see that this had already been answered
