It sounds like you’re trying to disable the red timer that appears when reviewing cards with the AnKing note type. There are two separate settings you need to check:

1. AnKing Note Type Setting

To turn off the timer specifically in AnKing note types:

  1. Click on the AnKing menu at the top left
  2. Select “AnKing Note Types” (you need to have the AnKing Note Types add-on installed: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/952691989)
  3. Scroll down until you find the “timer” option
  4. Uncheck the “timer” box

2. Anki Deck Options

Additionally, Anki has a separate timer setting that might still be active:

  1. Go to Deck Options
  2. Find the Timer section
  3. Uncheck “Show answer timer”

Make sure both settings are disabled to completely turn off the timer functionality.
