UWorld ID Cards

Hello,

When I input Uworld IDs, the associated cards do not appear.

Ex. UWorld ID: 1528

Thank you for reaching out! Our moderators have been notified and will assist you shortly. In the meantime, you can get an instant response from me simply by @ mentioning my username`. If you ask me a question, I will do my best to respond using only verified information found in the official AnkiHub docs and the Anki manual.

You can also find answers to common questions in our FAQ and Docs.

Hello

That is correct. It’s not possible to input a QID directly into the search bar and pull up a card, owing to the way that Anki categorizes (and searches).

You can format the search such that Anki will bring up cards with a specific tag, for example:

  • tag:UWorld::1528

This will do the trick, though it can obviously become pretty tedious over time. Most folks opt to use an add-on that largely automates this process for you, which can be found over at https://www.theanking.com/

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.

Thank you for your response! Unfortunately that didn’t work either

I think the formatting is getting cut off owing to the way the forum edits text:

You can type ‘tag:’ and then search for tags, is the long and short of it. Though most folks default to using the add-on, for all the obvious reasons

I tried doing that but unfortunately these cards aren’t appearing. I am not sure what the problem is since I am subscribed to Anking and see V12 on my browse.

I’m not sure. I can’t see much of the screen from what you shared

Can you show me your full screen, with the search bar visible?

Additionally, if you click on the tag ‘step1_v12’ how many card are listed as being present? (Should be at the top of your screen)

I have 15310 cards under #AK_Step1_v12

Sounds like you’re missing some card. I would follow this tutorial: Resetting Local Changes

Thank you for all your help thus far! I followed the steps in the tutorial. I do see the Respiratory tags but the card is empty. Is there a way to fix this?

From the looks of it, it seems like you’ve protected all of your fields, which is preventing AnkiHub from being able to update any of them:

In order to receive update to those fields you’ll want to unprotect any fields to which you’d like AnkiHub to be able to write. That can be done by following this tutorial: Managing Protected Fields

From there, you can hit sync. In some cases that’s enough. Occasionally, though, you have to ‘push’ a sync, which can be done by following this tutorial once again: Resetting Local Changes

Let me know how you fare, and we’ll go from there.

Thank you! It worked
