Why do I only have ~3k cards?

I just subscribed to the AnKing MCAT deck, but when I open browse it only shows 3727 notes when believe there should be ~6k. I updated Anki to the latest version.

The discrepancy is that there are 3k notes, while there are about 6k cards. This corresponds to the same thing.

One note may have multiple cards, given the way that cloze deletions work. I can explain in more depth if you’d like, but the short version is that 3k-ish notes is the correct number of notes, and is the same thing as the 6k-ish cards that are in the deck
