Notetype
The “Bigbrother Sync” notetype is based on “Anking overhaul”. All credit goes to the Anking team for creating this amazing notetype !
Hotkeys
The notetype contains all features and the same shortcuts as anking’s notes. It includes hotkey buttons for fields that can be opened with h or ' for all at once. It also includes “one by one” notes. You can use n to toggle each box or , to toggle all of them at once. One by one also supports revealing clozes word by word, in order to do that press shift + n
Exclusive features
Version Dec.23.1 introduced a button that helps you find related anking notes by automatically searching for optional tags for a given card.
Fields
- Text, Extra - This is the front and back of the flashcard. We strongly recommend you don’t protect these fields, but if you need to, you can protect the text and extra fields of just individual cards (see Anking’s video).
- Lecture Notes, Missed Questions, Personal 1/2/3 - These aren’t used by us and were added for you to use personally. Add anything that you want to see in your flashcards in those fields. We recommend you protect them on ankihub web.
- One by one - This field triggers the one by one feature for the note type. Add any character in this field to activate. This field is set by us.
