Will moving Anking Step deck cards into subdecks break syncing?

I’m looking to sort anking cards into subdecks using the “change deck” option in the browser.

Will moving the cards into a subdeck break the syncing for Ankihub? or is this safe to do?

Thanks

Hello,

You can safely move cards around into whatever decks, or subdecks, you like and it won’t cause any issues.

Ankihub recognizes cards by their unique note ID’s, which will be recognized regardless of where they are located; this is done intentionally so that you can freely move cards around and organize your collection as you see fit without causing any issues with syncing or otherwise.

Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
