This one’s a tricky little beast. I’m almost inclined, given the importance of the other half of the definition, to see if we can find a way to phrase it even if it requires two cloze-1’s:

  • Latent learning is when {{c1::learned behavior is not expressed until required}} and occurs {{c1::without a reward::…reward}}

It’s not going to go down in history as any great poetry, but maybe it gets us a bit more bang for our buck in this specific (and odd) case? Lemme kno ur thoughts

I agree I think it belongs in the text section. My only concern with that wording is that the order might suggest that the expression of the behavior occurs without the reward rather than the learning. Maybe: Latent learning is {{c1::learning that occurs without a reward but is not expressed until required}} or some wording like that?
