@Brian_BH I believe this is the hypothalamic-pituitary-thyroid (HPT) axis. Let me know if UWorld says otherwise though. The note here mentions the pituitary in the Text & hypothalamus in Extra. It doesn’t explicitly mention the thyroid. And while the question doesn’t necessitate it, I think it’d be helpful - both for concept consolidation & this QID’s purposes - to have a card that connects the HPT axis, similar to the HPA axis image in nid 1554605273056. Let me know what you think

I was trying to find a card that fit perfectly, and this was the closest I could judge. The correct answer option is ‘hypothalamus and pituitary’ though the question stem is referencing the thyroid gland.

I’m happy to switch it over to the other NID you mentioned if you think that’s a better fit. Ultimately, I’m happy to do whatever works best for the deck in the long run.

Since the answer is only looking for hypothalamus and pituitary, we can keep it to this nid

On a separate note, I wanted to try to check in:

At some point I had been emailing with someone, not sure who, regarding the ‘MCAT scholarship’ thing for tagging UWorld questions via the MCAT deck. I forget the numbering required for the threshold, but is that something I should email back to inquire about? Or is that something you’re familiar with?

I think at this point I’m nearing 200+ accepted tags (and over 250 tags suggested), and want to make sure I’m on the right track. I’m basically leveraging everything in my life against the MCAT at the moment, and any little bit of help aides in tipping the scales.

I’m not familiar with it. I’d suggest following up about it. If you don’t hear back, let me know the name of who you were contacting & I can get in touch with them to check
