A major update was recently pushed to reorganize AnkiHub subdeck tags for Ankore. As a result, all cards were synced to the current AnkiHub version.
Any edits made outside protected fields—and not submitted to the deck—will be overwritten if those cards update. To preserve personal changes, protect the relevant fields before syncing. Better yet, consider submitting suggestions so improvements can be incorporated upstream.
If you have already synced and lost changes, you can restore a local backup, protect your fields, and then update again.
Some users have noticed cards appearing fragmented between the outdated and new subdecks. This can be resolved by rebuilding subdecks with the AnkiHub addon.
To rebuild subdecks:
Click on the AnkiHub addon menu → Deck Management → Select the Ankore deck → Toggle “Enable subdecks” off and back on.
This update primarily renamed and reorganized subdeck tags to better structure learning resources. For example, Core Radiology is now nested under Textbooks. Because tags were updated in bulk, all cards received an update push.
