Accidently saw the answer, what to do? (FSRS)

I use FSRS algorythem for "V12 AnkingHub STEP deck 1/2 "

When I review cards, I sometimes read the question too quickly and press “enter” (thinking I know the correct answer), only to discover that I didn’t read the question correctly; by this point, I’ve already seen the answer.

So I’m not sure if I would have known the answer had I read the question slowly…

“What to do at this point?”

Shoul I “bury” the card until the next day (fpr cards with long intervals (4-5 months), I would remember the answer I saw by accident today, also tomorrow).

But If I press “good,” I will see it again in 6 months (which is too long).

And I don’t want to press again because I might have remembered the answer, which would screw up my algorithm, and i will get in to “oveload cards”.

Do you have any suggestion what to do ?

This happens to me occasionally, what I do is as you suggested, just bury it.

Yes this might give it away but if the next day i get it right, i ask myself

A) did i get it right because I just saw it yesterday and I would have no idea otherwise? → click hard

B) I got it right because even if I did not see it yesterday, I’m 100% sure I would’ve recalled this → click good
