Hello, I have been making cards for a deck (MGH Housestaff deck) and I recently renamed a field from “lecture notes” or “missed questions” (unsure which), to “MGH Page” so that I could paste the screenshot of the citation there.
After doing this, I have noticed that old cards kept their image in the MGH page tab, but the new cards won’t accept ankihub suggestions with the image there. It will say no change has occurred. If I change some text and submit the image with it, the image does not save.
Now, I have some cards with images under ”MGH page” and some under “missed questions” as I make new cards. How can I consolidate my images into one spot, and get ankihub to recognize the field slot with images?
When you modify your note type in any way, you change the code of the note type itself. Because of this, you need to let AnkiHub know that the note type has been updated. Please follow this tutorial to do so: How do I update my note type styling for a deck on AnkiHub?
I edited Missed questions to be titled “MGH Page” and deleted the rest of the fields, but every time I go through the steps you provided, the buttons pop back up. How may I get rid of these buttons which, prior, did not used to show themselves while no info was there? At this time, these fields don’t even exist yet the buttons show.
Do you have the required conditional field references in the back template? You should have something like this for each button you want to hide when there’s no content:
