Allow people to control the tags for AnKing V12

Posting this here for visibility, allow us to control the tags that are added with AnKing V12, for example, as a first-year medical student in an MBBCh programme (5 years), I don’t exactly need tags like:

  • PANCE

  • AnkiHub_ImageReady

  • AnkiHub_Instructions

  • %AnKingNoteTypes

  • !AK_UpdateTags

  • #AK_Original_Decks

  • #AK_Other

This is especially as I have other tags for other decks that I need for inhouse content and other tags for decks that I need for other uni exams. I feel like this would be a nice feature to help us keep the tags section tidy and neat.

Agreed, however I believe at this point in time it might be a difficult change for the AnkiHub team to make.

-An alternative solution to help you organize for now is to use the add on Colorful Tags (+ Hierarchical Tags) Located here:

It allows you to pin tags you use often to the top and change their color so it’s easier to see and use them. Here’s what mine looks like, for example:
