Anki custom text continues to change when I sync with AnkiHub

Hi,

MS3 here, I’ve been using Anki since MS1 and customized my Anki deck where I changed the text and colors (for example: underlined is red, blood is something else, etc). About 3 days ago when I finished my cards, and synced my deck my custom deck text was no longer custom and went back to the default settings. Idk why this happened because I didn’t change anything. I went back into settings and changed it back and it still keep returning to default.

I’m using Anki Version ⁨23.10.1 . This is the same version I’ve always used without issue. Any help/advice would be appreciated

We made some changes to the AnkiHub add-on to make it update AnKing note types to their newest versions. This is why your customizations got removed, and we are sorry for that.

To solve this issue, you can use the AnKing Note Types add-on:

It has an UI for customizing AnKing note types. It also updates note types to their newest version while preserving customizations.

The AnkiHub add-on won’t update the note types when you have the AnKing note types add-on installed, in order to not remove your customizations.
