Around 1y ago I modified the settings of the Anking card type to automatically display lecture notes and sketchy on the back side of the cards, as well as deleting the online meded banner and changing the 9s exclamation point pop up on the front side of the cards. Starting this morning I noticed that the card type settings I customized got reset to the original settings. I tried changing them to my preferred settings a few times with no luck.
My other customizations, like content in lecture notes, is unchanged. This issue of resetting settings seems confined to the card type settings.
Pushing this issue to the top, as at least for our German Anki Project (@Projekt_Anki_Germany) this is a breaking issue, due to problems with our notetype we originally uploaded to AnkiHub (and can’t change after the fact).
These issues can be fixed using our notetype add-on, however, this is a giant problem for some of our users with more extensive custom work (as effectively every accepted suggestions results in having to re-do one’s customisations).
Idk why this happens, as AnkiHub should never overwrite custom notetype settings (and afaik know was never designed to do so)
[idk about your AnKing notetypes addon, but due to it using the same general codebase for customization this issue should also affect you]

We made some changes to the AnkiHub add-on to make it update AnKing note types to their newest versions. This is why your customizations got removed, and we are sorry for that.
