I am super new to Anki and i am having some trouble with my AnKing-MCAT deck. I subscribed to the deck and it appears on my Anki application, but it shows under the âNewâ column, that is there is 140 cards. I meant to options to check my new cards/day and it shows as 9999. How do I see how many cards are in my deck to make sure I have everything?

Youâre seeing this correctlyâthe âNewâ column only shows how many new cards are available to learn today, not how many cards are in the deck total.
To check that you actually have the full AnKing-MCAT deck, use one (or both) of these methods:
1. Use the Browse window (best way)
- In Anki, click Browse at the top.
- In the left sidebar, click on your AnKingâMCAT deck (or âWhole Collectionâ if you want to compare).
- At the top of the browser, Anki will show something like:
âxxx cards selectedâ â that number is how many cards are in that deck.
You can also click each subdeck (Biology, Physics-and-Math, etc.) in the left sidebar to see their individual counts.
2. Use deck statistics
- From the main Anki screen, click your AnKingâMCAT deck once to select it.
- Click Stats at the top.
- At the top of the stats window, change the scope to âDeck lifeâ or âAll historyâ.
- Look for the Total cards or Total notes/cards count in that window.
This will confirm the full size of the deck, not just todayâs new cards.
Why you only see 140 âNewâ
- The 140 is just how many new cards are currently queued in that topâlevel deck and subdecks (based on your settings and whatâs been introduced so far).
- Your New cards/day = 9999 means there is effectively no daily cap, so as you keep studying, more new cards will appear until you reach the true deck size.
- The AnKingâMCAT deck itself has far more than 140 cards, so as long as the total in Browse looks large (usually in the tens of thousands), youâve got the full deck.
If youâd like, reply with a screenshot of the Browse window showing the card count at the top, and I can help you confirm that your subscription synced correctly with AnkiHub and that nothing is missing.
That helped a little bit
following the browse option, I was able to see there is 3841 notes in the deck. I think there is supposed to be around 6k though. Is this correct?
Hello,
The deck has around 3,800 notes, so it seems you have the correct amount.
In Anki, one note can have more than one card. If you click here in the browser, it will change the count to cards:
