When I click into the AnKing deck to study, the buttons are formatted oddly. It does not affect functionality at all, but wanted to know how to fix this. Sorry if this has been asked before!

This is almost always caused by one of these:
-
Window / zoom settings
- Make sure Anki is maximized.
- In Anki, go to View â Zoom and set it back to 100%.
- If youâre on Windows, check your OS display scaling (e.g. 125%, 150%) â very high scaling can sometimes squish elements.
-
Addâon or custom styling conflict
- Temporarily disable all addâons except AnkiHub:
- Tools â Addâons â âToggle Enabledâ to disable all, then reâenable only AnkiHub.
- Restart Anki and check if the deck page looks normal.
- If itâs fixed, reâenable addâons one by one to find the culprit (screenshot helpers / UI theming addâons are common causes).
- Temporarily disable all addâons except AnkiHub:
-
Resetting AnKing Home Page styling
- If youâve edited the AnKing deckâs Description or added custom HTML/CSS for the home page, try reverting that to the default (from a fresh download of the deck or the AnKing instructions).
-
Check database + restart
- Tools â Check Database.
- Close and reopen Anki.
If none of that fixes it, could you please share:
- Your Anki version (Help â About)
- Your OS (Windows/Mac/Linux + version)
- A full screenshot of the window including the title bar and status bar
That will help narrow down whether itâs a scaling vs. addâon issue, and we can suggest more specific steps.
Hello,
To fix this, at the bottom of that page you will see âDescriptionâ, just delete the text there and it will prevent this from showing up.
This is only present because you had a older version of the AnKing deck, it is no longer present on the AnkiHub version, which is why it causes weird formatting issues like that
Thank you I appreciate it!
