Thanks for sharing the screenshots! I can’t see the exact numbers clearly from the small images, but I can help you sanity‑check your setup and point you to what we generally recommend for the AnKing MCAT deck.

For MCAT decks, the most important things are:

  1. New cards per day

    • Common range: 40–80/day depending on when your exam is and how much time you have.
    • If your New cards/day is way higher (e.g. 9999) or very low (<20) and you’re early in prep, I’d adjust it.
    • Make sure you’re setting this per deck (on the AnKing MCAT deck options group), not only in the default group.
  2. Maximum reviews/day

    • Many people cap this around 200–300 to avoid burnout.
    • If you have it uncapped or extremely high, that’s fine short‑term but can snowball. For MCAT, consistency > one huge day.
  3. Learning / Relearning steps

    • A common setup looks like:
      10 1440 or 10 1440 4320 (minutes)
      • That’s e.g. 10 minutes, 1 day, (optionally 3 days).
    • If you see something like 1 10 only, that’s probably too short for MCAT content.
  4. Graduating interval & Easy interval

    • Graduating interval: 3–7 days is typical.
    • Easy interval: usually 2–3× the graduating interval (e.g. 7–10 days).
  5. Lapses

    • New interval: 50–70% is reasonable (you don’t want cards dropping almost back to zero for one lapse).
    • Steps: at least one step like 10 or 10 1440 for relearning.
  6. Burying

    • For MCAT, it’s usually good to bury siblings (cards from the same note) so you don’t see closely related cards on the same day.
    • Make sure “Bury related new cards” and “Bury related reviews” are ON for the MCAT deck options.
  7. Compatibility with AnkiHub

    • Ensure your AnKing MCAT deck is:
      • Subscribed to the correct AnkiHub shared deck, and
      • Using its own options group (e.g. “AnKing MCAT”) so you’re not accidentally changing settings for other decks.
    • You can check this in Anki:
      • Right‑click the deck → Options → look at the Options group name at the top.
      • If needed, click the dropdown → Manage → Add to create a dedicated MCAT options group.

If you’re okay with it, could you either:

  • Type out the key values you’re using for:
    • New: steps, graduating interval, easy interval, new/day
    • Reviews: max reviews/day, ease factor, interval modifier
    • Lapses: steps, new interval %, minimum interval
      or
  • Upload slightly larger/full screenshots where the text is readable,

and I can tell you more precisely if anything looks off for AnKing MCAT + AnkiHub.

Also, let me know:

  • Your test date (rough month/year),
  • About how many new cards you still have left in the AnKing MCAT deck,

so I can suggest concrete numbers tailored to your schedule.

Hello,

Yes! These are great settings, and I don’t see anything wrong with them!

Thanks. Or these setting below #2 are better?

It really depends on what you prefer. What matters is that you are always unlocking new cards to learn, and I always try to review every review card (green ones) for the day so the algorithm can work. Also, on both settings, FSRS is enabled, so that’s also good.

The rest is just personal preference. Here, you can watch the Anking video about the best settings so you can figure out what works best for you: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo-qQvOZDfg
