AnKing Shows 0 Cards Issue and Network Error

Hi Stemcellguy, welcome to the AnkiHub community! I understand you’re experiencing two issues with the AnKing deck:

  1. Your AnKing deck shows 0 cards but you can see them in the browse window
  2. You’re encountering a network error

The 0 Cards Issue

This is actually normal behavior for AnKing decks. When you first install the AnKing Step deck, all cards are suspended by default. That’s why you see 0 cards in your main screen but can view them when browsing.

To start using these cards:

  1. Go to Browse
  2. On the left-hand side, navigate to Tags
  3. Find the tag you want to study (for example, #AK_Step1_V12)
  4. Select cards you want to study
  5. Right-click → Toggle suspend

After unsuspending cards, they’ll appear on your main Anki screen ready for review.

Network Error

Regarding the network error, this could be related to:

  1. Internet connectivity issues
  2. AnkiHub synchronization problems
  3. AnkiHub server status

To troubleshoot:

  • Check your internet connection
  • Make sure your AnkiHub add-on is up to date
  • Try restarting Anki
  • If the issue persists, you might want to provide more details about the specific error message you’re seeing

If you could share a screenshot of the network error, that would help us diagnose the issue more accurately.
