I see that you’re having an issue with the AnKing deck showing zero cards when you try to study, even though you can see 100 cards in the deck browser. This is actually a common issue with the AnKing deck and it’s related to card suspension.

Why This Is Happening

Based on the information in our community, this is normal behavior when working with the AnKing deck. When you first install the AnKing deck, all cards are suspended by default, which is why you’re seeing zero cards available for study.

How to Fix This

According to our FAQ on this exact issue:

  1. Go to the Browse section in Anki
  2. On the left-hand side, navigate to the Tags section
  3. Find the tag you want to study (for example, #AK_Step1_V12)
  4. Select the cards you want to unsuspend
  5. Right-click and choose Unsuspend Cards

Make sure you’re in “Cards” view rather than “Notes” view when browsing. You can check this by looking at the toggle in the browser window.

Additional Troubleshooting

If you’re still having issues after unsuspending cards:

  1. Make sure you’re viewing “Cards” rather than “Notes” in the browser (there’s a toggle for this)
  2. Check if you have any filters active in your browser that might be hiding cards
  3. Verify that you’ve actually unsuspended the cards you want to study (suspended cards have a different color in the browser)

Would you be able to share a screenshot of your browser window when you’re looking at the AnKing deck? This would help us troubleshoot more effectively.

Hello,

I would be happy to help.

It sounds like you may have an issue with your local settings, though it is normal for the deck to start out with the cards suspended.

I would give this tutorial a shot first: How to Get Started Studying

Give that a shot, let me know how you fare, and we’ll go from there and hopefully we can get you squared away.
