:shuffle_tracks_button: Shuffle Card Project

Following last month’s poll results, 95% of you wanted the shuffling cards, therefore we have started rolling these out to select cards (around 24 so far)

You can find them here: tag:#AK_Other::Card_Features::Shuffle

Huge thanks to @abdo.nh, @theanking, and @ianthebfg for this initiative!

Let us know what you think!

:chart_increasing: High Yield Project

The high yield project is now 100% complete! (thank you to all the maintainers that helped out!).

As a short recap, this tag was introduced after Step 1 went Pass/Fail, and the tags were organized based on the question “how much do I need this card to answer practice questions?”

This recent project took it from around 85% complete to 100% complete.

Most notably, the new tags encompass a lot of biochemistry and pharmacology that were previously not tagged.

:brain: Mnemonic project

New mnemonic cards added for the Child Pugh (A BEAP mnemonic) and atopic dermatitis infectious complications (TIME mnemonic). Thanks to @joshuamb and @andrewmathias8

:framed_picture: Sketchy Step 2 Project

Sketchy Step 2 is now fully complete (all lessons tagged and have had their images added). Our next steps are making sure each Sketch has a review card. A huge thanks to @victoriamarino for making this possible!

:artist_palette: Illustration Projects

Tons of illustrations, diagrams, and annotated images have been added! A few are shown below. Thanks to @ahmedafifi, @beejumm, and @MarcosZan!

If you want to help make great illustrations, diagrams, or annotated images for the Step deck (like the ones you see below), send an email to ahmed@ankihub.net

Also, we want to know what medical concept you struggled with, even after learning the content and doing the flashcards, and wish to be visualized through an illustration/diagram? Please comment or send us a message and we’ll consider it for the future!

How does the new shuffle feature work? If I have the “text” field protected for a card that is under the new Shuffle tag what is the best way to go about updating it while maintaining my local changes? Also, is there an easy way to make our own shuffle cards?

If you only have the text field protected for certain cards, you can remove the “AnkiHub_Protect::Text” tag and reset local changes for that card. That will add the shuffle feature to that card.

Regarding making your own, we’ll most likely create a tutorial to show how this is done easily and share it with the community

Hello! I’m new here. I recently subscribed to the ANKI step deck as I was interested in the PANCE tagged ANKI cards. When attempting to create a custom deck to review the PANCE tagged cards in the deck, I received the message that there were no cards tagged with any of the PANCE tag options when filtering. Any tips on to better navigate?

Hello @adami,

What was the search string you used when creating the custom filtered deck?

Here’s a tutorial: How to Build a Custom-Filtered Deck

You can input something like this to pull out all the relevant PANCE cards that you’ve unsuspended: tag:#PANCE
