Should I use V11 cards for step 2 ck or all of them are already in V12?
I created filter decks for Step2 CK and there are around 3-4K cards in V11 that are not filtered.
One more thing, is there another way to study the cards by subjects without the creating a filtered decks? Thank you

You can use V11 cards but V12 cards have received 100,000+ changes. V11 cards are outdated and unreliable for every topic. You can ofcourse still do well using V11 but not all the information will be up to date
You can create a separate new deck then move all the cards into those decks if you do not want to create a temporary custom study deck.

There are new cards being made to capture information from UW questions from the Step 2 deck etc. Many V11 cards are simply incorrect at this point, and sometimes in very clinically important ways. If you can afford an AnkiHub subscription, I think it’s probably the best per-dollar investment in your medical training of the available third-party resources. We have added a ton of new cards so yes you would be missing some details if you did not do them. However, it is all relative, if you want a 230 on step 2 or a 280 on step 2, the more you do the better. So missing those cards might have an impact on your score
