Ive tried discarding suggestions (192) by selecting them multiple times, but they are still right there.

Thanks for reporting this, and for including the number of suggestions â that helps.
A few things to check/try so we can narrow down whatâs going on:
-
Confirm where youâre discarding
- Are you discarding from:
- The AnkiHub web âSuggestionsâ page, or
- The Anki add-on (Suggestions tab) inside Anki?
- Sometimes discarding in one place doesnât visually update in the other until you refresh/sync.
- Are you discarding from:
-
After discarding, refresh/sync
- On the web:
- After bulk-discarding, do a hard refresh:
Ctrl+F5(Windows) /Cmd+Shift+R(Mac). - Also try logging out and back in.
- After bulk-discarding, do a hard refresh:
- In Anki (if discarding there):
- Click AnkiHub â Sync after bulk-discarding to see if the list updates.
- On the web:
-
Check if theyâre the same 192 suggestions
- Sometimes the counter doesnât update immediately, making it look like nothing changed.
- Try discarding a small subset (e.g. 5â10 suggestions), then:
- Refresh the page and see if those exact ones are still there.
- If possible, note one specific field that should clearly disappear.
-
Try narrowing the list
- If there are filters (e.g. by note type, deck, âonly unreviewed suggestionsâ), try:
- Apply a filter,
- Select all in that filtered view,
- Discard,
- Refresh and see if that subset actually goes away.
- This helps determine if the issue is with the bulk action or just the display/update.
- If there are filters (e.g. by note type, deck, âonly unreviewed suggestionsâ), try:
-
Browser / add-on checks (if on web)
- Try another browser (Chrome/Firefox/Edge) or an incognito/private window to rule out:
- Caching issues
- Browser extensions interfering with the bulk action
- Try another browser (Chrome/Firefox/Edge) or an incognito/private window to rule out:
If youâre willing, could you reply with:
- Whether youâre discarding on web or inside Anki
- A short description of what you click (e.g. âSelect all â Discard â confirm popup appearsâ)
- Whether the number of suggestions changes at all after a refresh
Based on that, we can decide if this is very likely a UI refresh bug or if the backend is not actually processing the discard, and then flag it to the AnkiHub team as a potential bug with your deck/suggestion set.
Hello,
I would be happy to help. ![]()
I havenât heard from anyone else having the same issue recently, and tested a bulk rejection on my own on my end which seems to have gone through fine a few moments ago
Can you share a bit more detail about the specific difficulties youâre running into?
The more context you can share the easier it may be to be of help. Screenshots are ideal, if you can, just so I can see what youâre seeing
i got a bulk suggestion. if i delete them one by one they disappear from opn suggestions. but if i select all and bulk discard they stay unchanged. after your comment i tried again and 1st screenshot is filtered by the bulk suggestion ID. then i selected all and discarded, back on unfiltered suggestions home screen, i still see the bulk suggestions i just discarded, they are still there. i clicked on the bulk ID again and 190 open suggestions showed up again(2nd screenshot)
i just deleted one single suggestion and now the number is down to 189 from 190. but however way i try to bulk select and delete the suggestions by filtering from bulk id or by using the user who suggested the bulk edits, both times the discard doesnt work
