hello! i was wondering what user action would allow me to reveal a word in a sentence in anki mobile (ipad)? in anki desktop, this can be done by holding the alt key and then tapping the cloze box. thanks!
For Ipad, you would just need to click on the crown.
You can also use a anki remote to open them if you have one. I’m not sure if there’s another option but you may be able to configure it using the anking note types addon
hi! i apologize for not being clear. if a whole sentence is in a cloze, anking allows you to have a one-by-one reveal of the words - which can be done by holding the alt key on anki desktop. if you tap the crown on ipad, the whole sentence is revealed all at once.
There’s no supported way to do it on mobile without a keyboard.
This doesn’t appear to work for Anki desktop on Linux. Is there a way of doing this on a Linux desktop?
It shouldn’t be different on Linux. Do you have the latest notetype version? You can update notetypes with the add-on: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/952691989
Thanks for the feedback. I’ve added the latest notetype version but still getting the same error when I install Enhanced Cloze (for Anki 2.1). Although when I uninstall Enhanced Cloze (for Anki 2.1) I am still able to add Enhanced Cloze cards which seem to function normally. Does that make sense?
