Hello everyone,
I wanted to see if there is a way to filter the Tags column in the Browser screen after searching by Uworld QID (or searching anything in general). On the screenshot attached, I searched for cards by Uworld QIDs, but I am interested to filter the cards per specific tags (a specific shelf i.e !Shelf::FM). I am not sure if there is an add-on to help do that.
Thank you
Iβm not sure that its possible sort search results by a specified tag but the default Anki browser search can be used to include/exclude tags from the results. Instructions on how to search are in the Anki Manual, Searching - Anki Manual. The search string for your example would be:
(tag:*UWorld*::2494 OR tag:*UWorld*::22180 β¦ ) tag:!Shelf::FM*
The add-on that would help most with this is BetterSearch (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1052724801). It makes constructing search strings easier by providing a searchable pop-up when you enter something like βtag:β in the browser with all of your tags. It also has its own pop-up that will aid in constructing search strings.
Some other add-ons you may find helpful are Advanced Browser (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/874215009) and Extended Tag Add/Edit Dialog (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1135507717).
thank you! I usually search the tag as you indicated, but I was more wondering if there is a way to kind of sort and filter the cards per tags but figured it might be a little tricky. Thank you for your help though.
