I wanted to ask about the current state of AnkiHub Smart Search.
I read a few posts from around 7–8 months ago on reddit, and a lot of the feedback back then seemed fairly negative, especially regarding accuracy and usefulness. I’m wondering whether it has improved since then and is there a trial for it

Smart Search has undergone a lot of improvements! It is much more accurate and handles PDFs much better now. We are also frequently making updates!
We offer two subscriptions: https://www.ankihub.net/
Core: Full access to the decks and AnkiHub.
Premium: Access to premium features like the AI chatbot and Smart Search.
If it’s your first time subscribing to Core, you will get a 15-day trial of Premium so you can try it out!

Thanks for replying. Is there any way I could get the 15-day trial again? I think when I first got it, I was new to this stuff and didn’t realize it had an AI bot.
Unfortunately, that’s not possible. There are two conditions that must be met in order for a user to get access to the trial: they must have an active Core membership, and it must be the first time they are activating the trial.
However, feel free to subscribe to Premium for just one month to try it out!
I see that you are having payment issues in this topic (Payment failed while upgrading to $10 plan, and now my $5 membership isn’t working in the AnkiHub add-on - #3 by saad212004). A team member responsible for that will get in touch with you soon.
