How do I remove the AnkiHub AI icon on each card? It’s distracting.

Hello,

Unfortunately, there is not currently a way to turn off the AI chatbot icon. I think it’s definitely a reasonable request, though, so we will consider adding that ability ASAP.

@Hopetobeanmdsoon there is no new add-on code. As long as you have the AnkiHub add-on installed and you have recieved the email telling you that you have been granted access. Then you will be able to use the AI features.

Go to the AnKing step deck and you will see a button in the bottom right

Any update on how soon the button will be removed from the bottom corner? It’s disruptive to the workflow and a real eyesore on the screen while trying to study. It would be much better placed on the main deck screen, rather than on individual cards, especially because it is being used to select cards, which is not needed while already reviewing those cards.

Edit: I didn’t notice that the button on the reviews pulls up other relevant info. This is a great feature, but it would be nice to toggle how this appears on the screen or where and if it does, as it does interfere with other addons that may use that location.

For anyone else looking for a solution, I have just toggled off the AnkiHub Addon for the time being, and will toggle it on for updates as need be.

Hello AnkiHub Support,

I just wanted to clarify that I have access to the Lifetime plan including the new AI features. My confusion arose when I logged in and saw the following:

The above suggests that I only have the Core plan but I purchased the lifetime plan. Here is my receipt for the original purchase:

Can you help clarify and/or correct this?

Really nice addition to anki hub, one idea/suggestion though. Would be nice to be able to minimize the “follow-up questions” as it makes it feel cluttered and I have to scroll up to find my answer

Does this work with external or modified decks under the annkihub protect all tag? say for example the OZANKI deck, for us australians?

It would be nice to be able to move the AI window while reviewing cards in order to read what it says along with the card. Right now, the AI window covers half the card which is difficult to interpret with lengthy cards.

@patrick_lee223, if enough users from a deck express interest in wanting the AI for their deck then it is possible to add the OZANKI deck to the list of AI-toggled decks!

I have upgraded to to the premium but I don’t see the AI bot icons. Is there something extra that I need to do?

By the end of this Wednesday, everyone will be able to get access and the early bird pricing will still be available then yes :slight_smile:

If we have the $6/month plan but are currently part of the beta testers, are we going to lose access to the AI flashcard search feature?

You can actually get access now with this link, you should be able to get premium (Sign In)
