Is there any way to go back to previous instance of a deck if a deck owner accidentally accepted new note suggestions? Or will those suggestions be forever on ankihub
Currently, they will be on there until we introduce the delete notes feature.
However, we can get one of the developers to delete the notes on the back end. Let us know what deck this is for and the note ID’s of the notes you want deleted
Gotcha, so for the note IDs part, its about 2700 cards. Is there a way to select all the notes and get the note IDs ins a CSV file to send to ya’ll?
@jakub.f What would be the best way for you if you don’t mind?
You can select the notes in the Anki browser, right-click and select Export Notes…. Then choose these settings:
You can upload the .apkg file in a reply to this topic here on the forum.
We can then extract the note IDs from the file and delete these notes from your AnkiHub deck.
Hello Ahmed, I went ahead and got the note ID in an CSV file for the notes I want to delete. Note ID stays constant no matter what right?
Deck I want them to be deleted in: UVA SOM
How do I link the CSV/excel file? Not letting me upload it. Seems to only allow apkg and jpeg
You can try as what @jakub.f suggested above, it would be easier that way
If you want you can create a zip file which contains the csv/excel file and upload it here, that would work too.
The notes were deleted from the UVA SOM deck!
Note that current subscribers will still have these notes in their Anki collections if they synced with AnkiHub after the notes were added. New subscribers won’t have this issue (since the notes aren’t in the deck anymore).
Thanks!!!
