Hello! I used anki hub here and there for step 1, but accidentally deleted many cards when I went to clear space for step 2.
I want to start fresh and download the original anking overhaul, but it will not let me redownload the original deck, and just loads my old deck that was very disorganized and incomplete.
Can you help me to essentially just start over so I can overwrite my old data and download the fresh anking deck?

If you want to get all the cards back, do this:
Please try resetting your local changes. To do this:
Go to browse in your Anki → at the top click on ankihub addon tab → press reset all local changes
This will restore everything to what AnkiHub has unless you have specifically protected those fields
If you want to wipe all your card data, go to browse → note types on the left hand side → ankingoverhaul (Ankingmed) → select all the cards (Cmd + A) → right click → forget cards
i have followed and reset multiple times t no avail. my subdecks are still present and my accidently deleted subdeck has not returned. how do i do a complete reset as if i have downloaded for the first time?

First stuff: which deck are you referencing?
And, just to clarify: your subdecks are there, with the exception of the one you deleted?
Lastly: can you show me a screencap of your main Anki screen?
