I was referring to when using the side search bar for a question ID for UWorld, it would take a long time to scroll through to find the highlighted results. There is no control f that skips through the search bar for you or any exact search in which it shows you the number you search, it shows all searches that contain the number. What I do now is tag: in the main search bar, it pulls up to specify only step 1 decks, and then I continue to type the id number- but this method would definitely not be intuitive for many anki users.
Another issue I did not get to mention was that the old version has the tabs function whereas the new version of anki makes new windows. I haven’t updated my anki due to wanting to preserve the tabs function. This has caused other issues due to not being able to fully update, so if that were also attended to that would be great. I have seen on reddit and my fellow medical students also dislike windows over tabs but have found themselves in a position where they are forced to give up tabs because they want to update.
