Hi, I’m an incoming M1 and pure Anki noob. I downloaded the AnKing deck (latest version) but there is no media. I saw a comment that they contacted customer support and within a day they were provided a link to download the media/images.
Please if you could help me out that would be great. Thank you very much.

Check the AnkiHub menu as well to ensure the media isn’t still downloading. It may take some time
I looked through the wiki and went to the reddit link. After downloading the google drive link, I imported the media files locally and that still hasn’t solved my issue.
Can you provide a screenshot where you’re not seeing media?
