Hi all,
I just had a quick question about the card intervals after taking a hiatus from anki. I took STEP 1 in February and have not done anki since. I am starting clerkships now and I want to resume my progress on anki but all my cards have now set to absurdly distant dates that were not the original. Cards that I have seen only once are getting pushed out months to years for example. I set the maximum interval to 4 months but even cards that I have not seen that often are getting set to that and I just want them to go back to their original timeline. Is it possible to do fix this?
Hello
This is pretty normal after a break, as Anki assumes that remembering a card after such a long hiatus must mean that you remember the card very well. Which is to say that this is normal, and by design.
You could reset all of your cards, which would reset all learning progress and have you start from scratch. Thatβs about the only other option available to you, really
Happy to walk you through how to do that if youβd like.
Ah thats too bad. Starting from scratch would be a little much so I will just roll with this and try to press βagainβ more to shorten the intervals after each time I see a newer card.
Thanks for your help.
