To use the collaborative deck, you’ll need to add the ankihub add-on to your anki account and I’ll add you to the deck as a maintainer/collaborator:
https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/1322529746
To create cards for the deck, you’ll need to click “add” and choose:
- Type: 00 KL Radiology SP duplicate (0 Radiology / kenny.li@live.com.au)
- Fill in the flashcard/contents according to the headings - these are the same as the ones on the google doc
- Fill in the tags at the bottom
After you’ve finished a session of making cards, go into Browse and select the cards to upload to the shared deck:
- Right click → Ankihub: Bulk suggest notes
- Change type: New content
- Enter any text in the “Rationale for Change” box
- Tick the box “submit without review”
- OK
Cards that others have added to the deck should automatically sync when you press the sync button
Current issues:
Can’t sort flashcards into Systems/subdecks
- when syncing/adding cards that others have made, it gets put into a folder that you’ve selected instead of the right sub-deck
You can set this folder to somewhere separate so its less messy + easy to access/fix up
- go to Ankihub → Deck management
→ click on 0 Radiology and choose your destination where it says “Change Destination for New Cards”
I made a new blank deck and put all these cards there, but if you’re happy with all of the cards just into one big deck then you don’t need to do this step, this just sorts the flashcards into systems/sub-systems
The easiest thing to do after this is to create the sub-system decks "i.e. make a “Cysts” sub-deck under “Spine”, then bulk select all the relevant cards and change deck - you can also do this quicker by looking at the tags in the “Browse” section to filter it further
