I wanted to know if you could get the newer sketches & index to automatically show up first as soon as you answer, without having to manually reveal them, and the older version to do the same just right below.

You can’t currently make the newer Sketchy “extra/index” automatically expand on every card by default via AnkiHub, but you can get very close with card template / field layout changes in your local Anki.
In the AnKing-style decks, this behavior is controlled by:
- Which field the newer Sketchy info is stored in (e.g.
Sketchy Extra,Sketchy 2024,Index, etc.) - How that field is placed on the card template (front/back) and whether it is wrapped in a collapsible section, spoiler, or “Click to reveal” toggle.
To make the newer Sketchy content appear automatically above the older one:

Identify the fields
Open the deck → Browse → select one of the relevant cards → look at the right panel to see which fields contain:- Newer Sketchy content (what you want to auto‑show first)
- Older Sketchy content (what you want just below)

Edit the card template order
In the Browser, click “Cards…” for that note type. On the Back template:- Move the newer Sketchy field so it appears above the older Sketchy field in the HTML.
- Remove any
spoiler,ank-collapse, or “click to reveal” wrappers around the newer field, so its contents show immediately when you reveal the answer. - If you still want the older Sketchy to be hidden until click, you can leave it wrapped in a collapsible/“reveal” section under the new one.

Apply to all cards of that type
Changes in the Card Templates apply to all notes using that note type, so once you fix it there, it will affect all AnKing cards that share that template.
A few important notes:
- AnkiHub does not currently have a setting to “auto-expand newer Sketchy on answer” globally; this is done locally in Anki via card templates.
- If you change your templates, future AnkiHub updates will not overwrite your local layout (they update fields, not your template HTML), so your ordering should persist.
If you’d like, reply with a screenshot of the card’s fields (from the Browser) and the Back template code, and I can suggest the exact edits/lines to move so the newer Sketchy appears first and automatically.
