Is there any way to toggle these additional fields one by one or all at once by a keyboard shortcut?

Short answer: as far as Iām aware, Anki/AnkiHub currently donāt provide a builtāin keyboard shortcut to toggle those extra (hint) fields, either individually or all at once.
A few details/ideas:
- The behavior in your screenshot comes from the card template / field setup (e.g., using
hint:or custom JS/CSS to show/hide extra info on click/hover). - Anki itself doesnāt expose a generic ātoggle this extra fieldā action that can be bound to a hotkey, so thereās no official shortcut you can assign in the preferences or via AnkiHub.
- Iām not aware of any AnkiHub setting that adds such a shortcut on the review screen, and a quick check in our docs/community didnāt reveal one.
What you can do (if youāre comfortable editing templates):
- Use a single keypress in the browser window (mouse/trackpad) to reveal info, e.g., by making the whole card area clickable or by using CSS/JS so that clicking anywhere or hovering reveals all hints at once. That still wonāt be a keyboard shortcut, but it can reduce friction.
- If youāre using a shared AnkiHub deck (like AnKing) and want this behavior globally, you could:
- Duplicate the note type and adjust the templates for yourself, or
- Propose a template change in the appropriate AnkiHub deck feedback thread so maintainers can consider adding an easier reveal mechanic.
Since this is something a lot of heavy keyboard users might like, Iād suggest:
- Edit this topic to include:
- Your OS + Anki version
- Which deck / note type youāre using
- Then we can tag it as a feature request for AnkiHub (or the specific deck) so the team sees thereās demand for a keyboardābased reveal of additional fields.
If you share which deck/note type this is (e.g., āAnKing Overhaul,ā specific note type name), I can give more concrete suggestions for tweaking its templates to make revealing those fields less clickāheavy.
Hello,
This card and note type are not from a deck maintained by the AnkiHub team, so I cannot say for certain if they included any shortcuts in the note type.
If you ever need shortcut information for AnKing decks, you can download the AnKing Note Types add-on: https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/952691989. There is a dedicated shortcut section there.
