For example in the Cardiology Deck under Aortic Diseases, I am missing the “Anatomical Considerations” subdeck. Then, under Pericardial Disease, I am missing the “Pericardial Effusion” subdeck.
This occurs in some of my other bootcamps sections too such as Genetics. I will be missing one subdeck (one video worth of anki) but all the rest will be there.
Hello,
Do you mean tags, by chance? Rather than subdecks?
Can you show me what your tags look like currently? I don’t believe that the first tag you mentioned is present in the current version of the deck. Happy to look over the second one for you, though.
It’s probably worth noting that tagging is always an ongoing process and so different tags are in a near-constant process of update and improvement and not all facets will always be completely fleshed out.
You can always reset local changes to your deck as well: Resetting Local Changes
This will ensure a full-check and corroboration of your local collection against the server copy of the deck and iron out any discrepancies that might exist on your local side.
Please let me know if that answers your question, and if there’s anything else I can help with.
Hello,
Thanks for the prompt response! I went back and added screenshots to my original post to describe what I mean! And yes I meant tags. See how under Aortic Disease it is missing the tag for video number 1 “Anatomical Considerations” and just begins with tag #2. And then for Pericardial Disease, tag number 3 is missing which corresponds to the “Pleural Effusion” video. I have tried resetting local changes but it says “You dont have any Ankihub decks configured yet.”
I was confused because my friends also use Anking and have these tags and are able to complete the anki for these associated videos
It sounds like you may not be subscribed to the deck, or maybe not logged in via the add-on, potentially?
I would double-check that you tried to reset the appropriate deck, that you are subscribed to that deck, and that your account is active. All that jazz; they may very well otherwise prevent you from receiving updates.
I would also make sure that your add-on is up to date and that you’re on the latest version of Anki, just to be safe. Add-on issues aren’t super common, but always nice to eliminate them as a potential source of issues.
Hard to draw any conclusions about the collections of others. It could be that they have older tags, or older collections, or a handful of other potential causes.
I would try subscribing to the deck and resetting local changes and let me know how you fare. We’ll go from there.
How can I check that I am subscribed to the deck and logged in via the add-on?
I am subscribed to the deck and have the latest version of anki and I am signed into my ankihub account on Anki as well. I tried to reset it again but same message.
