Hi there! Looking at your screenshots, I can see that you’re having an issue with missing cards in your AnKing deck when browsing by tags. This is a common issue that can be fixed.
Based on what I can see, it appears that you’re only seeing 1 card for each Pathoma tag. This isn’t normal - you should be seeing many more cards under these tags.
Solution: Reset Your Local Changes
The most likely solution is to reset your local changes in AnkiHub, which will restore all the cards and tags properly:
- Go to Browse in your Anki
- In the menu bar at the top, click on AnkiHub
- Select Reset all local changes
- Select the AnKing deck you want to reset
- Click OK
This will restore everything to match what’s on the AnkiHub server, which should include all the properly tagged cards.
Additional Troubleshooting
If resetting local changes doesn’t work:
- Make sure you’re viewing all your cards in the browser (not just a filtered selection)
- Check if you have any search filters active that might be limiting what you see
- Verify that your AnkiHub subscription is active and properly synced
Let me know if resetting your local changes fixes the issue. If not, we can explore other potential causes!
i have tried that already but it did not work, still so many cards i assume are missing. there are like 1-2 cards per video, which I know is not right but don’t know how to fix it.
I understand your frustration - seeing only 1-2 cards per video tag definitely isn’t right for the AnKing deck. Let’s try some more specific troubleshooting since resetting local changes didn’t resolve the issue.

I can see you’re still having issues after resetting your local changes. Let’s try a different approach.
Based on your new screenshots, this looks like it could be a browser view or filter issue rather than a missing cards problem. Here are some specific troubleshooting steps:
Check Your Browser View Settings
-
In the Anki browser, make sure you’re viewing “Cards” and not “Notes” (check in the dropdown in the browser toolbar)
-
Make sure the sidebar is expanded and verify you don’t have any accidental filters applied
-
Try this specific search approach:
- In the browser search bar, type
deck:AnKing (or whatever your deck name is)
- Then try
tag:pathoma to see if that shows more cards
Try Rebuilding Your Collection
- Close Anki completely
- Reopen Anki while holding down the Shift key (this bypasses add-ons temporarily)
- Go to Tools → Check Database
- Restart Anki normally and check if your cards appear
Verify Card Count
- On the main Anki screen, check how many total cards you have in your AnKing deck
- Compare this with what’s expected (the AnKing deck should have thousands of cards)
If the total count is significantly lower than expected, it suggests the subscription/download might not have completed properly, rather than just a viewing issue.
If none of these steps work, you might need to try completely unsubscribing from the deck, restarting Anki, and then subscribing again fresh.
Let me know which of these approaches you try and what results you get!
tried these and it did not work
I’m sorry to hear that the previous suggestions didn’t work. Let’s dig deeper into this issue.
Let’s try a more thorough approach:
-
Check if the cards exist at all:
- In the browser, try searching for specific content you know should be in the deck (e.g., search for keywords like “Pathoma” or specific medical terms)
- This will help determine if the cards exist but aren’t showing up under tags
-
Examine your tag structure:
- Click on “Browse” then look at the sidebar
- Are there any unusual tag hierarchies or duplicated tags?
- Sometimes tags can become nested incorrectly
-
Try creating a filtered deck:
- Go to Tools → Create Filtered Deck
- Use a search like
deck:"AnKing" (adjust for your deck name)
- Set a high card limit
- This will help identify if cards exist but aren’t showing properly in the browser
-
Check for AnkiHub sync issues:
- Go to AnkiHub → Check for updates in the menu
- Make sure there are no pending syncs or errors
-
Completely reset the deck:
- As a last resort, you might need to:
- Unsubscribe from the deck completely
- Close Anki
- Restart your computer
- Open Anki and subscribe to the deck fresh
If you’re still having issues after trying these steps, it might be helpful to:
- Check how many total cards appear when you search for
deck:AnKing (or your deck name)
- Take a screenshot of your AnkiHub subscription page showing which decks you’re subscribed to
This appears to be an unusual issue that might require more specialized support from the AnkiHub team directly.
