Hello @gbalintoff,
It looks like you’re dealing with extra cards in your AnKing deck after switching to the AnkiHub version. There are a couple of things to consider:
First, it’s worth noting that seeing 35k cards in your AnKing deck isn’t necessarily incorrect. As explained in this FAQ, the AnKing Overhaul deck has around 28,800 notes but approximately 35,000 cards. This difference exists because one note can generate multiple cards (using cloze deletions).
However, if you’re certain you have duplicate or old cards from your previous V12 installation that you want to remove, you can reset your local changes:
- Go to Browse in your Anki
- In the menu bar at the top, click on AnkiHub
- Press Reset all local changes
- Select the AnKing deck
- Click OK
This will restore everything to match what’s on AnkiHub and remove any locally added/modified cards.
If you want to check if you truly have extra cards beyond what’s expected, you can:
- Go to Browse
- Select your AnKing deck on the left
- Check the card count at the bottom of the screen
- Compare this with the official count from the AnkiHub website
Would you like any clarification on this process or need help with anything else related to the AnkiHub version of the AnKing deck?
