I have been trying to sync my computer to my Anki app on my iPhone. It hasn’t been syncing, the sync option wouldn’t work. So I deleted the app and redownloaded it, everything is updated, I also logged out and logged back in. I tried syncing again the phone has been syncing for more than an hour and half and is still going.
If you have a very large collection it can take quite some time. This is dependent on your specific mobile device, internet connection, firewalls, etc. On mobile devices it’s certainly not unusual for it to take an hour or more.
I would just make sure you’re logged into Ankiweb from your phone, which it sounds like you are, and unfortunately with large collections there’s not a lot to do other than wait.

hi, no I let it sync for around 2hrs and it was still syncing. i went to check other apps on my phone and when I returned it said sync failed. I usually do not have problems with syncing, this problem just started recently. I hadn’t sync my computer to my phone maybe for a little over a week and when I tried to sync it would either take for ever or not sync at all.
You need to let it sync on the app for a few hours, this happens to me too if I get a new phone. It can take eve 3-4 hours depending on your internet connection. You can’t exit the app or it will stop the download
