Im trying to edit the “text” field (front of card) on certain leech cards but whenever I do, if the card gets updated it removes the edits I made and changes it to whatever the update was for that card. I have the protect text field selected on AnkiHub. Is there a way to still get the updates for cards but also keep the edits I make on the cards for myself?
Did you protect the text field using the right click → AnkiHub protect → text?
If you do that then no you will not receive new updates to that card specifically
I didn’t, just through ankihub. but I do want updates on the card just want to keep my edits as well
You can’t protect a field to keep your edits and get ankihub changes to that field as well at the same time unfortunately
