There aren’t really ‘best settings’ specific to a given timeframe, really; the recommended settings tend to be the same regardless of timeline. FWIW
Once you import a deck you have the option to also import the recommended settings, which may likely already be in place. Separate from that, the current recommended settings, generally, are covered in this video (with lots of additional information): https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uo-qQvOZDfg
The AnKing Youtube videos cover lots of other helpful information, and I might recommend looking into filtered decks given the proximity of your upcoming exam.
