Hi, I bought the subscription for AnkiHub and I already have downloaded the anki step 1/2 deck . I already kinda know how it works. Unsuspending cards while I see the material. I have 2 questions regarding this.
As I was used to do anki with the subdecks , I was wondering If there is a way I can still see the subdeck on anki and selecting it from there but still maintaining the unsuspending method to do cards.
Lets say: I will like to to see al subdecks of the deck but only unsuspend the actual subdeck Im doing. Can you explain me step by step how can I do this?
Im not upgrading from V11. I just downloaded v12. Im starting from scratch. So the only way to create subdecks is with doing what is in that video? Is complicated.
Also, can you explain to me please step by step how to make sure everything is being synced? Let say i finished a deck, how do i make sure it is sync? pressing sync and then pressin sync with ankihub?
last questio, what are the steps to do anki on my iphone. i just downloaded the app, i have to sign it on my anki account, then what? ankiweb is being used? how does ankihaul takes place in this? I just want to make sure that whatever i do on the mac doesnt get lost when im doing anki on the go on my iphone.
Thank you for clarifying! V12 has no subdecks, it is recommended to use the tags which can be found here by going to browse → tags → #AK_Step2_v12
You can either
A. create your own subdecks so you can click create a deck → name it Endocrinology or whatever → find the tag relevant to the subject → highlight all the cards by doing Cmd + A → change deck → move it to the deck you created (not recommended)
B. create custom studies so for example, you want to have a separate deck for surgery → go to browse → tags → #AK_step2_V12 → find the surgery tag you want to do → unsuspend the cards you want to do → go back to your anki → create custom study (see the video above for that) → select the surgery tag you selected → create deck (recommended)
I highly recommend you watch AnKing videos on this so you can get familiarized on how to use the deck
Correct, you just need to click sync and it will be synced
Once you have synced your decks on your laptop/computer (it will take a while the first time), you just need to sign into ankiweb on your phone and click “download from ankiweb”. Then you will have the deck on your phone. Just make sure everytime you are done using anki on your phone to click sync, so that when you go to your laptop/computer, the decks are in sync and vice versa
