In the AnKing Note Type add-on config, you will need to configure the User Actions to fit whichever shortcut you want.
AnkiDroid
In the Anki Android app, click the ☰ icon on the top left and select Settings → Controls → Swipe down to ‘Command mapping.’

Tap each option (i.e. ‘Show answer’, ‘Answer button 1’, etc.) and select ‘Add key’ and then press the key on your controller that you would like to perform said action.

If you would like to remove a key press from performing an action tap ‘Remove…’ instead of ‘Add key’
AnkiMobile
In the Anki iOS app, you must configure which buttons on the controller map to those User Actions. Go to 
→ Review → Gamepads
