Hi i am currently using Anking V12 while studying for USMLE step 1.
After studying certain materials for example like Sketchy, I find the tags for that material and unsuspend them by doing (command+A , command+J).
But as certain cards have multiple tags, sometimes I encounter some cards are already unsuspended, so if I do “command+A , command+J”, I’m worried that the cards that were already unsuspended would switch to suspended state. (Since I saw on another thread that command +J means switching back and forth between suspend/unsuspend)
What I expect is that among the cards that I selected with command+A,
I want only the suspended cards to change to unsuspended state while leaving the ones that are already unsuspended to stay unsuspended.
I would like some easy tips on it to make it possible. Thanks.

So when you’re searching for cards in the browser you’re going to have the search string for whatever tag you’re looking at. Let’s use an easy example like this:
That’s going to bring up all the cards that are tagged by step1_v12, obviously. But, as you point out, this will be all of the cards, suspended or unsuspended.
So, let’s say we want to find the cards that are tagged by this AND that are suspended. We could do this:
Or, let’s say we want to find the cards that are tagged by this and that are NOT suspended. We could do this:
Basically to any search string you can add is:suspended and it will bring up only cards that are suspended.
Or, conversely, you can add -is:suspended and it will bring up only cards that are not suspended.
Let me know if that helps and if you have any other questions or if there is anything else I can help with.
