Unable to Update the AnkiHub Add-on

Hello,

This issue has been going on for >3 months. Everytime I start the Anki PC software, the Ankihub Add-On update notification will pop up. I click on continue, then it downloading and installing, but nothing is getting updated and there is no error message. When I restart the same update notification will come up again, indicating that the update was not successful. Please help.

Hold shift when starting Anki, go to tools->addons and check for updates. Install. Restart.

I tried this but it still isn’t working for me, I have anki version 2.1.54. It shows it needs to be updated but when it tries to load it it just says there are no updates even though it still detects that there are.
