my desktop anki wont load images of the dura set (over 6k cards), what should I do?

In this case you might have to reach out to the deck’s author, as this particular deck is not maintained directly by Ankihub.
From the looks of it, other users seem to have had a similar issue with this deck ([Wiki] Dura Deck by chriscross) and it does not appear to have been updated in the last year.
