Why can't I see the ankihub_id field anymore?

I’ve noticed that I can no longer see the ankihub_id field anymore. I know that the ankihub_id is still stored somewhere within the info of the card, since the card will show up when its ankihub_id is put into the search bar. Have they been removed?

Hello,

You can get the ankihub ID by right clicking on the card and clicking on Copy AnkiHub Note ID to clipboard

I believe that field is still there on Anki IOS, but I don’t believe it was there on desktop Anki. I could be wrong…

The field is hidden by the add-on intentionally to prevent accidental edits.

I never look it up on mobile, but in a pinch you can also click ‘view on Ankihub’ and it should bring you to the Ankihub page that lists the AnkiwebID:
