You know what… i am subscribed to AnKore and now i remember that when I dowloaded your ankihub deck a pop-up mentioned that Ankore and Mastering decks were going to be combined. I didn’t think much of it since I’m illiterate when it comes to Anki (despite using for 6 years now). Any tips on how to recover from here? Sorry…sure you have better things to do on a weekend.
You should have Anki backups stored in your local files. Anking has a video on how to find you backup files. It happens every time you sync.
I had that issue too. i just had to delete the AnKore Deck. However, now i have some cards from the Mastering Deck under separate tags. Even after syncing with AnkiHub and restoring local changes, they seem to be split between “Core_Radiology::Chapter_01…” and “Mastering_Radiology::Core_Radiology::Chapter_01…” Any idea what’s going on @drradiology?
I have no idea how to prevent this from happening. I’m not even sure why it is happening since they should have different AnkiHub IDs. Maybe it recognizes the tags and content?
Do both tags have cards in them? If both have the same cards, then I’d deleted the “Core_Radiology::Chapter_01…” tags. All of my tags will be under Mastering_Radiology. The alternative is to export the deck with scheduling data (so you save your progress) and just delete everything. Then reimport and see if that helps? I really am not sure. I don’t think AnkiHub has probably encountered an issue where there are 2 decks with some cards in both decks that users both download. Sorry I can’t offer more help.
If you are keeping both decks to see which you prefer, then you could create a new profile and download the deck to that profile (using the Mega link) to see if you like my cards. I can’t imagine you would want both decks. My deck covers everything in the Ankore deck plus more with better formatting so having both decks wouldn’t be necessary. If you have significant progress in Ankore, you could just export the subjects you have completed and then ignore those in my deck. Then just do the cards in the sections you do going forward!
If a card has the same note ID, AnkiHub will detect it as the same (rather than the AnkiHub ID)
I’m not familiar with these two decks but were they ever a duplicate of one another? Or cards from one deck was used to make the other?
Yes, my deck incorporates some, but not all, of the Ankore deck. Which is probably where issue is coming from.
I just Sync’ed with Ankihub on a brand new profile and it seems the cards are still split up between two different tags. There’s “Core_Radiology::Chapter…” and “Mastering_Radiology::…” Looks like a lot more card with the Core_Radiology tag. What do your tags look like? Is it supposed to be Mastering Radiology only?

Yeah I am not sure what is going on there. On my end, there is only the Mastering Radiology tags. Those are the tags I will use going forward.
I’m trying to figure out how to incorporate your deck since I have already completed half of the Ankore but it’s all spread out. Do you have any advice regarding that? Also is the mega link continuously updated as well since I cannot sync?
What do you mean it’s all spread out? I know that I didn’t click to include subdecks when I uploaded it (my mistake and now I apparently can’t fix it), but the deck is heavily tagged in the browser. I would just suspend all sections that you have done in Ankore and unsuspend the cards in the sections you do going forward.
The Mega link is not constantly updated. I published it here so that updates could be more easily synced in real time. I will update the Mega link intermittently.

are some of the media files missing or is anyone else having issues with the files? For example Anki id: 1770404368703 no image is showing up despite seeing it on ankihub but no image being present even after downloading the media files

So, the media upload separately is taking forever. If you sync with ankihub, that doesn’t fix the problem? I uploaded the deck media again to AnkiHub hoping that might fix the issue.
