If you already had AnKing cards in your collection, and then created an AnkiHub account and downloaded the deck, some cards will be updated automatically.
If you do not sync with AnkiHub again after that point, your cards will not receive further updates. However, by default, the AnkiHub add-on performs a sync whenever your Anki does.
While you can change this setting, I cannot guarantee that you won’t receive updates while the add-on is installed, as that is the main purpose of AnkiHub. There is no reason to have the AnkiHub add-on installed if you do not want the updated AnKing Step Deck or ongoing updates.
