Add-On Deck Not Appearing

Please I need help! I’ve been struggling with this for over 4 hours.

I purchased the subscription to access the Anking MCAT deck. I successfully added the add-on to my desktop app.

I followed all the instructions and when I go to sync - the deck does not appear. It just says “collection sync complete.”

Hello,

I’d be happy to help.

Can you show me your main Anki screen, so I can see your decks and subdecks?

Yes for sure!

Can you show me the ‘collection sync complete’ message that you’re getting?

Are you receiving an error message otherwise?

I’m not getting an error message, just that the sync is complete! I can attach a photo, yes

I did upload and deleted the Milesdown MCAT deck and tested that earlier today which worked - which is why it says “studied 6 cards.”.

Give this a shot:

Please let me know how/if that helps.

I was able to create a test deck and card. But still not seeing the AnKing MCAT Deck that I subscribed to :frowning:

At the top of your main screen, can you click here and show me your resulting screen?

On ‘deck management’ specifically

Hi!

So I reattempted to add the deck via my mac computer instead of my windows and I had success syncing and the Anking add on deck has appeared. However - it is showing only 163 cards. I’ve tried restarted and unsubscribing and resubscribing as well.

I appreciate the help!

Awesome. That is some progress, at least.

Give this a shot and let me know where we’re at: Resetting Local Changes

Unfortunately no change :frowning:

How are you determining that there are only 163 cards in the deck?

If it’s just that front screen, it’s very likely that all of the cards are present and they’re just not all ready to study (this is normal). You wouldn’t, in most cases, want 6.3k cards to be ready off the bat.

You can double check this by looking at your tags, from the Browse screen:

If you click on this tag, you should see how many cards are actually present in that deck.

Oh my gosh! I’m so stupid - thank you so much! Yes it looks like it’s all in order now. I really appreciate the help!
