Hey recently my Anki started flickering shades of gray when I am answering cards. It is super distracting and annoying. The flashing stops when the 9 second timer runs out. I already tried turning off the timer in the Anking note types but it does not fix the issue. Any help would be appreciated.

Sorry to say I haven’t heard of that one before. Can you try disabling all of your add-ons first and seeing if that affects, or resolves, the issue?
Either way that should tell us something about what’s causing it, and we can go from there. 
I did all the troubleshooting and I think it’s being caused by my monitor being attached to my laptop. Thanks for the help!

This happens to me too, super annoying and not sure how to fix it. I think restarting Anki stops it from happening
